Cove Desk Free audit

Terms of Service

What you're signing up for, what it costs, and what we each need to do.

Effective October 14, 2026

This page is a plain-language summary plus the terms of your Cove Desk service. The terms below are our agreement, not just an overview. Questions go to partners@corneliacove.com.

Who this agreement is with

Cove Desk is a service of Cornelia Cove LLC, 418 Broadway, Ste N, Albany, NY 12207. “We,” “us” and “our” mean Cornelia Cove LLC. “You” means the business subscribing to Cove Desk. By subscribing to or using the paid service, you agree to these terms on your business's behalf.

The service is for US businesses. You must have authority to accept these terms for the business and to use its phone number. Requesting the free missed-call audit does not start a paid subscription.

What Cove Desk does

We set the wording, intake questions and emergency words with you. The names, numbers, conversations and bookings shown in the site's examples are made up to illustrate the service, not customer results.

Plans and billing

An AI minute is time the AI front desk spends on calls. Prices are in US dollars, with applicable taxes added. Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew month-to-month until canceled. Usage beyond the included AI minutes is charged at the stated overage rate. We'll confirm your billing date before paid service starts.

If you choose the advertised annual option, its price, payment schedule and renewal date must be agreed in writing before you subscribe; the AI setup fee is waived. The monthly price above is not a quote for an annual payment.

If we change a price, we'll send advance email notice before it applies to a future paid period. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.

How to cancel

Email partners@corneliacove.com to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you can use the service through that date and it will not renew. You still owe any usage charges incurred before service ends.

Our refund policy: no refunds for partial months or unused portions of a paid period unless required by law.

Turn off call forwarding with your carrier when you stop using Cove Desk so unanswered calls return to your usual handling. Turning forwarding off by itself does not cancel billing; email us to cancel.

Your part in setup and day-to-day use

Texts are replies to your callers

Cove Desk sends conversational replies and call-related follow-ups from and for your business number to people who called it. It is not a marketing-blast service. Do not use it for cold texts, purchased lists or unrelated promotions. Message frequency depends on the caller's conversation; the recipient's message and data rates may apply.

Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and we will stop further texts to that number for your business. You must also honor clear requests to stop made in other words or by phone or email; pass those requests to us promptly.

CTIA's Messaging Principles and Best Practices call for consent before business texts and respect for opt-outs (§§5.1–5.1.3). You are responsible for obtaining and documenting the permission needed before we send on your behalf.

Registration and carrier decisions

We handle A2P 10DLC registration for you. Carriers and the registration process may require business and campaign information before texting can start. The Campaign Registry describes registration of brands and their messaging campaigns. Approval and timing are outside our control; there may be a wait before go-live, and we'll tell you when texting is approved.

Registration does not guarantee delivery. Carriers and other messaging providers may filter or block messages, including traffic they identify as unwanted. See CTIA's guidance on filtering and blocking (§7). We do not promise approval, delivery of every text or a particular review time.

Lawful use and prohibited content

You remain responsible for your business's compliance with applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA, 47 U.S.C. §227, official text) and applicable consent and privacy rules. Our registration work and opt-out handling do not replace your compliance responsibilities.

Do not send spam, threats, harassment, scams, deceptive content, malware, unlawful material or content that violates someone else's rights. Do not impersonate another business, use a number without authority, bypass an opt-out or evade carrier restrictions. These service rules also reflect CTIA's guidance against harmful and deceptive content (§5.3).

AI and emergency limits

AI answers can be wrong. Review the instructions, bookings and caller details, correct errors, and use your own judgment before relying on an answer. NIST describes the risk of AI producing incorrect information. We do not guarantee that the AI will recognize every urgent situation or complete every transfer.

Cove Desk is not an emergency service or a substitute for 911. “Emergency” words and transfers refer to your business's urgent service calls. For immediate police, fire or medical help, call 911. Do not rely on Cove Desk to reach emergency responders.

Your information

Read our Privacy page for the site's audit-form collection, use, retention and your choices. Sending that form does not enroll you in marketing texts. The audit-request retention period on that page describes audit requests; it is not a promise about retention of paid-service call or message data. If you need details about paid-service data handling before subscribing, email us.

Availability and service expectations

Calls, texts and bookings depend on carriers and other third-party services, as well as your forwarding and business setup. Interruptions, delays and failed deliveries can happen. “24/7 AI answering” describes the plan's answering schedule, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. We offer no uptime guarantee or service-level credits.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise a particular number of jobs, revenue or business results.

Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cornelia Cove LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost jobs or lost data, arising from the service. Our total liability for claims arising from or related to the service or these terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limit rights that the law does not allow you to waive.

Claims caused by your use

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Cornelia Cove LLC against third-party claims, damages and reasonable legal costs caused by your unlawful use, content, lack of required consent or breach of these terms. This does not cover claims caused by our own unlawful conduct. We will notify you of a claim and reasonably cooperate; you may not agree to a settlement that imposes obligations on us without our written agreement.

Suspension for abuse

We may suspend or end service for abuse, unlawful messaging, failure to honor opt-outs, unauthorized use of a number, nonpayment or a material breach of these terms. We may act immediately when needed to protect callers, the service or carrier access. Where practical, we'll email you the reason and any steps needed to resolve it. Suspension does not authorize further messaging or remove charges already owed.

Governing law and changes

New York law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you.

We may update these terms. We'll email you advance notice of changes and their effective date, and update the date on this page. Changes apply prospectively. You may cancel before they take effect; using the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
